How the LUMii Heavy-Duty Timer Works:

The LUMii Heavy-Duty 24Hr Analogue Segmental Timer will switch mains power many types of electrical devices such as pumps, CFLs, T5 fluorescents and lighting contactor switches. The relay switch in this LUMii Heavy-Duty version can directly switch one 600 Watt Ballast, without the need for a separate contactor-switch! Alternatively, the LUMii Heavy-Duty version can switch up 1200 Watts of fluorescent lighting or 3200 Watts of non-inductive load type equipment. The required on-times are set by the position of tabs around the timer. The correct time is set on the timer by gently turning the time-face so that the arrow points to the correct time. When the LUMii timer is plugged in, the clock will keep the time and activates a relay to switch electrical power to the socket on the front face under the flap, according to the programme you have set up. Please note: this LUMii Heavy-Duty Timer does NOT have an override switch.

How to Use the LUMii Heavy-Duty Timer:

The LUMii Heavy-Duty 24Hr timer can be used to switch on an electrical device according to a user-set programme of (minimum) 15-minute intervals. The LUMii Timer will repeat the same programme daily until the programme is changed. Set the required “On” times on the timer by lifting up the sprung protective clear flap over the timer-face and moving the appropriate tabs on the timer face from the inner (Off-position) to the outside (On-position). Rotate the timer face clockwise until the current correct time is lined up with the time-indication arrow. Plug the LUMii timer into a mains outlet, then lift up the protective flap over the socket on the front of the unit and plug in the device to be switched. The LUMii timer will now supply power to your electrical device according to your set programme.

The LUMii Heavy-Duty 24Hr Analogue Segmental Timer can be used to switch one single 600 Watt lighting ballast on and off directly. If it is required to switch more than one 600 Watt HID lamp then either one timer must be used per lamp OR a lighting contactor switch must be used in conjunction with your timer.
