 Growth Technology EC standard - a known EC-value solution designed to determine EC meter accuracy and used to measure EC nutrient value.

Note that if you do not calibrate your EC meters using Growth Technology solutions at regular intervals, the accuracy of EC instrument readings will be unreliable. This can lead to serious crop losses and can damage plants if this condition persists.

When calibrating it is advisable to use only a small sample of the solution in a separate vessel, test the meter and then pour out the solution. By pouring out the used solution, avoid contamination of the fresh solution and ensure a longer service life of the calibration solution.
